Commencement upgrade Cat Bi airport in May 2/2013

According to Mr. Duong Anh Dien, Cat Bi airport serves the economic thrust northern coastal regions, the government has approved a plan to adjust and upgrade Cat Bi airport into Port International aviation standards 4E (standard code of international civil Aviation Organization ICAO and military airport level I).

After completing the upgrade Cat Bi airport reception ensure A321, 767 and equivalent to 11 parking positions; cargo terminal capacity of 17,000 tons / year; passenger terminal capacity of 800 persons / hour peak. This project is the first airport in the country where the local airport is the project owner decided to invest a total investment of 3.500 billion, expected to be completed in March 8/2015.
